Quiet but Working

Another week in the books! This one was pretty slow and uneventful. Other than getting a headache Friday afternoon it was not super stressful but not super relaxing either. I'm going to try to enjoy this week since it's finally not supposed to rain. I'm also going to see Ali Wong with my mom Saturday night so I'm looking forward to that too. And hence why the Sunday workout on the schedule this week is just some gentle qigong haha the show starts at 9:30 so I'm going to be struggling in the morning.


I'm really bummed that I haven't been able to run at all really due to the weather, so I'm actually going to pivot next week, and instead of focusing on running, I'm going to be starting a 90-day challenge on one of my workout apps so that I'm beach ready for a vacation my mom and I have planned in June. So I'll do each of those 30-day sections then in the days leading up to the trip I'll switch to all HIIT workouts to get that last-minute burn in before we hit the beach. I'm counting down the days! I think the workout plan will help the days go by faster for sure.


I haven't done weekly goals in a while (because my weekly goal has been just getting through the week) so I'm going to set a couple for this week: listen to my Mindful March Affirmations every morning and evening, and drink at least 71 oz of water each day. Keeping it simple this week, want to set myself up for success for my upcoming challenge. I'm also trying to read more because it's so fun and makes a difference in my day-to-day quality of life I've noticed. Gotta keep both our bodies and our brains right.
