Keeping things up and not backing down

I just completed week two of Sculptember (I accidentally switched to that after the first week of Bridal Barre Bootcamp, that was an oops!) I'm going to switch back this coming week, but I've been liking this calendar too! Lots of quick HIIT and some strength workouts, great variety.

I have been slacking with my morning mobility, as I have had to be at work between 8-8:30 am and I am NOT a morning person, so waking up even earlier is not really an option haha, but I definitely notice on the days I had to skip. Today I went to a nice morning yoga class, got everything all loosened up, and recentered. Then I went to this awesome farmstand and bought some fresh berries, red lettuce, eggplant, and some other stuff to meal prep for this week and really get after it in terms of my diet. I was good for a while at eating fresh healthy stuff but once things got insane at work I really dropped off. I'm hoping now that things have calmed down a bit I can really get super healthy. I'm trying not to beat myself up too much for slacking off a bit and just trying to get by.

Sometimes we're just in survival mode and that's totally ok. It happens to just about all of us. Just find one or two things to hold on to that'll keep you level-headed, and power through the best you can. Also, don't be afraid to reach out! Talk to friends, comment on social media, or even comment on this post! Talk it out and know you're not alone, it'll help.

That was my little spiel for this week. Check out the playlist, and don't be a stranger.
