Keep pushing and a special announcement

I am in the home stretch of my challenge and MAN do I feel good! I have 5 days left and I'm trying my best to finish strong! I've added ankle/wrist weights to most of the applicable workouts and I can actually do a fair amount of push-ups on my knees! I'm so excited, and my goal this week is to do every extra finisher workout for my program this week before I go back to planning my own workouts on my own split. I will be making a few changes to the spilt I discussed in a previous post though, I'm going to try to make my rest days Monday & Wednesday to coincide with the free yoga classes offered at my work. I'm thinking of doing the following as of right now, obviously depending on how I feel/what's going on etc:


Monday: Outdoor Yoga


Tuesday: Full Body with weights


Wednesday: Morning Cardio? (gonna see how I feel)/ Outdoor Yoga


Thursday: Upper Body


Friday: HIIT/Cardio


Saturday: Lower Body & Yoga class?


Sunday: Walk/Run & Yoga class? (alternating Saturday & Sunday or both because that's when my preferred teachers are in)


That's my general game plan going forward, I'm hoping I can keep my momentum going on my own and get even stronger!


I want the take away this week to be one of resilience. It's going to be hard. It's going to be hard, sometimes even unbearable. But you gotta keep going. It's like what Martin Luther King Jr said: if you can't fly then run, if you can't run then walk, if you can't walk then crawl, but whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward. So keep pushing forward, even if you're crawling, or taking wobbly baby steps. Both of those will get you where you want to go faster than staying stationary.


I also have exciting news this week! Yesterday (aka when I'm writing this) marks the beginning of Buck Fifty October, where folks try to write at least 150 words every day for the month of October, so I'll be generating a lot more content this month! I don't want to drown you in posts so I'll definitely be spacing them out over the next few months, but it also means that starting this month I'll officially be upping the post schedule to twice a week! I'm really excited for this change and I hope that you're all excited too. As of now I'm planning on doing the extra posts on Wednesdays, but if you have a preference for another day then definitely let me know.
